What resonated within me, dear Claire, as I watched your interview on Catholic TV last evening was that you are an authentic voice for this generation’s moms who seem today to have more struggles juggling their sacred calling of motherhood and family life with their outside work schedule, along with all the new, complex, challenging issues children of today’s generation bring home. I felt, Claire, that you were the answer to the challenge the other young author before you shared about her teenage daughter, claiming that there are no manuals or guidelines for moms or dads to deal with these unexpected and challenging issues teenagers present to them. So, when you spoke so convincingly about your love for Jesus, and how each day, before you wrote your reflection, you turned to God’s Sacred Word in prayer, you came across as faith filled, enlightened, honest, and real. Having read so many of your blogs, I know how well you relate to and live many of the struggles young parents today face, and yet you come through each challenge so faithfully to the benefit of your blessed children. God surely has in you, Claire a beautiful, grace filled, uplifting support to thousands of moms, including that other writer (sorry I didn’t focus on her name) dads and families of today.
On a more superficial note, you looked beautiful on the set,☺ poised and natural … most appealing to viewers!!! I was hoping they’d put the camera on your mother … so touching that she was there with you.
May our Loving Father continue to bless and guide you in your important calling
